Q: What is your refund policy?

Monthly subscriptions can be canceled at any time through your customer portal, but subscription fees are not refunded once billed. The one exception is your first paid video: if it is a short-form edit and it does not meet your expectations after revisions, we refund your first month in full. This guarantee applies to short-form first videos only. It does not apply if you choose a long-form video as your first edit.

What kinds of videos do you edit?

Almost anything with a creator behind it. We edit YouTube Shorts, TikToks and Reels, long-form YouTube videos, podcasts and interviews, vlogs and talking-head content, commentary and reaction videos, tutorials, faceless channel content, and brand or business videos. Gaming is where we got our start and remains a specialty, but the same editors and the same process apply to every niche. If you are unsure whether your content fits, send it in for a trial edit and find out.

What games do you edit?

All major titles, including Minecraft, Roblox, Fortnite, Grand Theft Auto, Valorant, Call of Duty, Apex Legends, Rust, Counter-Strike, and many others. Our editors are gamers themselves who understand the nuances of each game's community and content style, so gaming creators get an editor who already knows the game.

Do you edit podcasts or talking-head content?

Yes. Podcasts, interviews, and talking-head videos are a regular part of our workload. We handle multi-camera switching, jump-cut cleanup, captions, chapter markers, and b-roll, and we can pull short clips from each episode for Shorts, TikTok, and Reels. A full episode counts as a long-form video on any plan, and the clips count toward your short-form allowance.

Do you work with brands and businesses?

Yes. We produce product demos, sponsorship integrations, testimonials, explainers, and social content for brands and small businesses. If you need a set volume each month, any subscription plan works. If you need something more custom, such as multiple brands or a one-off project, email [email protected] for a quote.

How does the trial edit work?

The trial edit exists so creators who are considering one of our plans can judge our quality before spending anything. Submit a YouTube link or raw footage, and we deliver a polished short within 24 hours, produced with the same quality, effort, and attention as paid work. If the result does not meet your expectations, you owe nothing and are under no obligation to subscribe. If you choose to subscribe afterward, you receive an extra free short in your first month.

Where is your team based?

Our editing team operates across multiple time zones to enable rapid turnaround. Editors work while you sleep, which is how we deliver same-day and next-day results on most submissions. All account management, quality control, and client communication is handled during United States business hours.

Can I mix short-form and long-form videos in one plan?

Yes. Every plan is flexible rather than locked to a fixed deliverable count. You can mix shorts, simple clip edits, and long-form videos however you like: a standard short can be swapped for two to three simple clip edits, or you can put part of your month toward long-form instead. Long-form works the same way: the number on each plan is a typical count, and it can be a little higher or lower depending on how complex the edit is. We tell you exactly where your videos land after a trial edit. For example, a Starter plan covers 10 standard shorts, 4 long-form videos, up to 25 simple clip edits, or any combination in between. Simpler footage stretches your allowance further.

What is your refund policy?

You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your customer portal, but subscription fees are not refunded once billed; cancellation simply stops future charges. The one exception is our first video guarantee: if your first paid video is a short-form edit and it doesn't meet your expectations after unlimited revisions, we refund your first month in full. Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. Cancellation is available at any time through your customer billing portal. There is no advance notice requirement, no cancellation fee, and no mandatory exit interview. Canceling stops future billing; fees already charged are not refunded, and you keep access through the end of your paid period. You may also pause your subscription, which is useful for creators taking temporary breaks who wish to resume service later.

Are thumbnails included with my plan?

Growth and Pro subscriptions include standard custom thumbnails at no additional cost. Anyone, subscriber or not, can order fully illustrated thumbnails for $30 each: hand-drawn by an artist from your photo or avatar, with custom lettering and two rounds of revisions. Subscribers get them at a discount: Growth members can upgrade any included thumbnail to fully illustrated for $15, and Pro members for $10. All of our thumbnail designs employ proven high-contrast composition principles and visual hierarchy techniques that consistently improve click-through rates on YouTube and other platforms.

What payment methods do you accept?

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as ACH bank transfers. Customers may pay monthly or save 20% by selecting annual billing. Subscription management is available through your billing portal at any time.

Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Grand Theft Studios ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), you ("Client", "you", "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our services.

2. Description of Services

Grand Theft Studios provides professional video editing services for content creators, including but not limited to short-form video editing, long-form video editing, thumbnail design, and related creative services. Services are delivered on a subscription basis according to the plan selected by the Client.

3. Account Registration

To access our services, you must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years of age, or have parental consent, to enter into this agreement.

4. Subscription and Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. Prices are quoted in United States Dollars and exclude applicable taxes. We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your customer billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to services through the end of the period for which you have paid.

6. Refund Policy

Subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to stop future billing. The sole exception is our First Video Guarantee: if your first paid video is a short-form edit and does not meet your expectations after revisions, you may request a full refund of your first month. This guarantee does not apply when a long-form video is chosen as the first deliverable. Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days through your original payment method. 7. Intellectual Property Rights

Upon full payment, you retain ownership of all final deliverables produced under your subscription. We retain ownership of our internal processes, methodologies, templates, and the right to display non-confidential samples of completed work in our portfolio unless you opt out in writing.

8. Content Submitted by Client

You represent and warrant that you own or have appropriate licenses for all footage, music, and other content submitted to us for editing. You grant us a limited license to use such content solely for the purpose of providing services to you. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on any third-party rights.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or to submit content that contains illegal material, infringes on intellectual property rights, contains malicious code, or violates the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts that violate these standards.

10. Service Availability

While we strive to provide consistent service availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service with reasonable notice to affected subscribers.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grand Theft Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through email or by posting on this page. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Privacy Policy

Grand Theft Studios ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information from users of our services.

Account Information: Name, email address, billing address, and payment information (processed and stored by our payment processor, Stripe).

Content Submissions: Video footage, project briefs, creative direction, and related materials submitted for editing.

Communication Records: Email correspondence, support tickets, and chat history with our team.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and analytics data collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to provide and deliver our services, process payments, communicate with you regarding your account, respond to support requests, improve our services, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share necessary information with the following service providers solely to facilitate service delivery:

Stripe: Payment processing and billing management.

Email Service Provider: Transactional and account communications.

Cloud Storage: Secure file storage for project deliverables.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain account information for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months following cancellation, after which records are deleted unless retention is required by law. Project files are retained for 90 days following delivery, after which they are removed from our active storage.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.

Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.

Portability: Request your data in a portable format.

Refund Policy

1. General Policy: No Refunds on Subscription Fees

Subscription fees are non-refundable once billed. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your customer billing portal to stop future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you retain access to services through that period. The only exception to this policy is the First Video Guarantee described below.

2. First Video Guarantee

If your first paid video is a short-form edit and it does not meet your expectations after our unlimited revisions, you may request a full refund of your first month, with no retention attempts. The guarantee covers the quality of your first paid video, not a full month of completed work, and requests must be submitted within 30 days of your initial subscription purchase.

This guarantee applies to short-form first videos only. If you choose a long-form video as your first paid deliverable, the guarantee does not apply and your subscription fees remain non-refundable.

3. Eligibility

The First Video Guarantee applies to:

First-month subscription fees for new customers.

Accounts whose first paid deliverable is a short-form edit.

Requests submitted within 30 days of initial purchase.

Accounts in good standing without violations of our Terms of Service.

4. Trial Edit

The trial edit is a complimentary sample offered to creators who are evaluating our services before subscribing, limited to one per creator or channel. It carries no charge and therefore no refund is applicable. If you are dissatisfied with the trial edit, you are under no obligation to subscribe.

5. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are covered by the same First Video Guarantee from the date of initial purchase, subject to the same short-form requirement. Beyond that guarantee, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but may be canceled to prevent automatic renewal.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to partners@grandtheftmc.net with the following information:

The email address associated with your account.

The date of your subscription purchase.

A brief reason for your request (optional but appreciated for service improvement).

7. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days from the date of approval. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Actual posting time to your account depends on your bank or card issuer.

8. Exclusions

The following are not eligible for refunds:

Subscriptions whose first paid deliverable was a long-form video.

Monthly renewal fees after the first billing cycle.

Custom rush services beyond the scope of the standard subscription.

Add-on services purchased separately from the subscription.

Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.

Chargebacks initiated through your payment provider without first contacting us (we encourage direct communication for the fastest resolution).

9. Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may request review by emailing partners@grandtheftmc.net with the subject line "Refund Review Request". We will review the case and respond within 5 business days.
